Kelsey and her mother were on their way to a swap meet one early morning. But their trip came to a halt when they saw a horse along a stretch of road. The poor animal looked like she was abused and malnourished. They knew couldn’t leave the horse all alone out there.
They did their best to put her in the trailer, but the horse was scared. Thankfully Kelsey didn’t give up on her. This amazing Illinois teen walked it 9 miles home to safety. Her task didn’t end there though. She nursed her back to health and she slept in the barn for five nights since she didn’t want the horse to be alone during the recovery process.
