When it comes to music we all have our own particular favorite. We are definitely a generation that loves music and we all love to think of ourselves as something of experts. This is seen in every aspect of our culture.
With music there definitely is a connection that people have with it. Many times you will see people closely relate to artists and music that was popular when they were younger. The young impressionable years seem to really have a strong influence on us when it comes to the types of music we enjoy listening too.
One of the more well-known classic rock artists is Janis Joplin. She was a very well-known and respected artist of her time and her music is still being enjoyed and listened too by the new generation of teenagers.
Janis Joplin was known and famous for several reasons but her most well-known talent was obviously her voice. She had such a strong, clear voice and was able to sing her music so clearly that it was really able to resonate with her fans at the time and it is still ringing clear now. While she was an incredible artist she unfortunately died way too young and so we are left with only the music she was able to record up until her death.
Because of her incredible popularity and amazing music many artists have made it their goal to cover her music and it is from the covers that we have gotten some amazing performances. One such performance was done by the popular pop singer Pink.
Pink covered the song “Me And Bobby McGee” and it was an amazing rendition that we were only too happy to hear. Pink is talented of course but we had no idea that her voice was so strong or that she was able to convey so much emotion behind it.
