That Ballerina Starts Dancing. But When I Saw What The Horse Does Next, I Was Floored! WHOA!

In 2014, a short clip with the title “Instinct of Color” displayed four colors by the nail polish brand called OPI. OPI enlisted ad agency DAN Paris and together these establishments created a brilliant film for us all to see! Prepare to be blown away by one of the most stunning commercials ever made!

The star of this beautiful ad is a horse called Lady in Black. The horse was trained by French equestrian stunt trainer Mario Luraschi and he describes it as a thoroughbred horse. While some of the dressage movements are authentic, most of the horse’s movements are shown thanks to some very skilled animators. The clip features a song called “Down the Road” by French DJs C2C.

There are four women in the clip who are dancers and each one is wearing a different color nail polish with an outfit to match. They take turns dancing with Lady in Black, each time showing off their nail color. But the horse’s hooves always match the nail color of the woman she’s dancing with at the moment.

The women must be professional dancers because they are all excellent and very talented. The horse, through animation, of course, tries to match their dance moves whether ballet, tap, modern, etc. Each time, the horse’s hooves are featured with matching nail color. It’s a really powerful ad and very creative.
