There’s nothing worse than a sibling in pain. If you have a sibling, you can relate with ease. Sure, you may have caused the pain one some very rare occasions, but it wasn’t out of spite or anything. When we’re young, our control of our bodies is amateur at best. However, no matter what happens, we find ourselves by our sibling’s side. Looking to do what we can to alleviate the loud cries of discomfort emitting from our deeply loved younger or sometimes older sibling. It’s not an easy job, but someone certainly has to do it.
Through our shared bond of blood, our parents, and our general connection we share and hope to continue to share, we reach a point where we’d protect them no matter what. No matter the obstacle, we will do our best to be there for them in their times of need. To lend a shoulder when things get too rough or too confusing. It’s a lot easier when we are young. Yet, while distance may separate us, the bond remains as ironclad as ever.
Luckily, Cal shares this same idea. His new baby sister seems to be troubled by something. Her face is red as a tomato and she just won’t settle down. Nothing seems to soothe her cries of protest and confusion. Unfortunately, it’d be at least a year or two until she would be able to talk, so we make do with what we can.
Cal decided the best and most crucial thing she needed was a lot of unconditional love, understanding, and cuddles. As he approached his poor sister he found himself caressing her gentle face, in the sweetest coos, usually reserved for loving mothers, Cal laid next to her and told her it was going to be alright. He loves her very much and boy, does it show.
