Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons Start Singing The Hit “Sherry”. They Continued With THIS! OMG!

The Four Seasons were undoubtedly one of the most famous and best loved pop groups of the 1960s. No mean feat as they had the Beatles to compete with!

They quickly shot to the top of the pop music charts in 1962 with their unforgettable hit song, “Sherry”. It was sound that had not been heard before and the music-buying generation went wild for it.

They are now known as the first famous and successful pop group to put falsetto into their melodies, and… tadah!… their signature sound was created. The group ended up being known as “Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons”.

As a group, they had what must have seemed like a never-ending spell of hits throughout the 60s and 70s. On top of this, front man Frankie Valli even grabbed the hotly contested weekly number one spot as a solo artist with the title song from “Grease” in 1978. He had the words, he had the motion!

The Four Seasons were inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” in 1990. And we think rightly so!

Around the mid-60s, they went on an American television show and sang a fantastic and memorable medley of their hits such as “Sherry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Dawn (Go Away),” and “Rag Doll.” We really wanted to share this with you so please click on the link below… and enjoy!
