One of the scariest things that can ever happen to a family is for parents to be separated from their children. It is in these moments that the parents become fully aware of just how helpless their children are and how badly they need to find them.
For animals, this fear is exactly the same, but they do not have access to an entire community to report the loss and seek help in finding their children. What makes this even more difficult is that if humans want to help, the animals are often frightened and scared away from the very people that are trying to bring their children back.
When this mother leopard lost her cubs in the middle of a sugar cane field in India, she was terribly heartbroken and had lost all hope. A local farmer found the cubs and wanted to find a way to bring them back to the mother without scaring her away.
