Going to a live sporting event is always a fun time, even if you couldn’t care less about the game at hand! There’s always so much yummy stadium food and drink to enjoy in the company of friends, and you have an excuse to shout at the top of your lungs, even though you might not have any idea about what you’re rooting for. It’s all in good fun!
But the best part of any sporting event is, hands down, the halftime show. I’d say that the main reason I even go to see live sports is for the halftime show, and I know for a fact that I’m not the only one who feels this way! The mascots are sure to make you laugh, and the dancers are amazing athletes on their own.
One of the most well-known NBA dance teams is the Chicago Luvabulls of the Chicago Bulls. They’re often accompanied by Benny the Bull doing crazy dunk stunts or aerial flips. It’s always SO much fun. And in a sports town like Chicago? The energy in the room is riddled with excitement!
For one special Christmas performance, though, the Luvabulls were joined by some unexpected guests, and they donned some untraditional footwear in the form of pointe shoes! But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of their modern flare in this incredible version of The Nutcracker. Just wait for 1:43… and then at 3:08? So cool!
