Kid Rock’s name isn’t synonymous with country music, but he definitely has a country side. In 2012, the artist joined forces with some of country music’s leading ladies to perform duet performances of the song “Picture”, which he originally recorded with Sheryl Crow.
While Kid Rock has dabbled in a lot of different genres over the course of his career, his duets with country music artists have really set him apart. He’s worked with Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson and many more.
When Kid Rock was in his hometown of Detroit, he took the opportunity to perform with Miranda Lambert’s girl band, Pistol Annies. The collaboration was pure music magic! Together, the four artists took “Picture” and gave it a sassy, country twist.
Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley make up the Pistol Annies, and when they joined forces with Kid Rock the result was a one of a kind experience.
