Performers like Nat King Cole just had such charisma and talent that we constantly find ourselves re-watching their classic hits. In the clip from Stage Film Television, you’ll see Mr. Cole perform “Those Lazy Hazy Crazy Days Of Summer,” from the 1963 BBC special, “An Evening With Nat King Cole.”

The 1963 BBC special was a 47 minute TV special where Nat King Cole performs many hits in his inimitable, charming manner with great accompaniment from John Collins, Charlie Harris, and many more.

Nat King Cole, was an American singer who first came to prominence as a leading jazz pianist. He was widely noted for his soft baritone voice, performing in big band and jazz genres, and was a major force in popular music for three decades.

Cole was one of the first African Americans to host a national television variety show, The Nat King Cole Show.

Like other musical legends, his recordings remained popular worldwide after his death from lung cancer in February 1965.
