Whenever I watch dog tricks, no matter how simple they may be, I am thoroughly enthralled. Dog tricks have a weird way of catching attention. Animals are much smarter than we give them credit for, but still, whenever they show a bit of understanding, you can’t help but be engrossed and entertained.
Even if you’re not a dog person, this little dachshund’s adorable trick is going to make you smile. It is a bit dramatic with a whole lot of cute. I just can’t get over how jumpy and energetic this little guy is. This is so darling. I think this little guy deserves an academy award for his amazing acting.
The dog is across the room, and when his owner gives a command, he comes running as fast as he can. When his owner says, “Bang!” he falls to the ground dramatically and slides across the carpet like he’s been shot. It’s so funny. Of course, he hops right up to get his treat that is waiting. But what’s even cuter is how he hops backward, all the way across the room, to get back into starting position.
He can’t take his eyes off the treats long enough to turn around, so he hops backward. This is one clever pooch! He deserves an award, don’t you think?
