Pink (aka Alecia Moore) is world-famous for her amazing acrobatic performances as well as her phenomenal vocal range. She came to fame after performing “Lady Marmalade” 2001.

‘In the Arms of The Angel’ is a poignant and emotional song that has been admired by many. However, most people don’t know the meaning behind the song. The ‘Angel’ in the song symbolizes the drugs that an addict repeatedly gives into. In fact, the song was written by Sarah as a tribute to Smashing Pumpkins touring keyboard player Jonathan Melvoin, who overdosed on heroin and died in 1996.

This video is an incredible collaboration between the two, with their distinctive and very different voices enhancing each other’s performance. Pink absolutely nails the harmony, and Sarah’s incredible range is pitch-perfect, as always.

Such a stunning and emotional song, being sung by two of the most accomplished stars of modern music. A genuinely touching song that will bring goosebumps.
