This is Billy the dog. When he and other dogs were found in a puppy mill in March 2012, they were in terrible condition. Their living space was dirty, smelly and most of the cages were jammed.
As soon as The Humane Society’s Adam Parascondola carried Billy in his arms, they made an instant connection. Billy laid his tiny head on Adam’s chest and that moment reminded Adam why he does what he’s been doing all these years. He ended up adopting Billy.
Unfortunately, the puppy mill has caused a myriad of medical complications on Billy. Despite Paracondola’s best efforts, he couldn’t keep Bill going. He passed away over Christmas that same year.
