Most animals hate going to the vet, and seem to sense when the dreaded visit is about to happen. When Max the Cockatoo is told he needs to get into his crate and visit the vet, his reaction is hilarious.
At first I found his cries alarming, but “screaming” is actually perfectly normal for cockatoos. According to research, screaming is a natural part of a cockatoo’s life, it’s how they actually communicate with each other. At 1:25, he REALLY starts getting animated and letting his owner know JUST what he thinks of the plan.
