Dogs or cats getting cancer is always incredibly heartbreaking, i've come across several stories where owners decide to just travel along with their pets after finding out that this cruel disease is going to cut their companions time short. The following story is beautiful and has a happy ending, it also shows that dogs deserve all the love and respect, no matter the breed.

Meet Wallace the Pit Bull, he is an amazing dog who, at the time this video was shot, had beat all the odds. After a diagnosis with hemangiosarcoma, a rapid-forming cancer typically found in dogs, Wallace was given two-to-three months to live without chemo — but his pet parent, knew he was a fighter.

In this video, we celebrate with Wallace on his 11th birthday post-diagnosis — after going seven months chemo-free! To make sure his day was extra special, Dad gives him the most incredible birthday celebration, full of treats, toys, and goodies. When he opens the big, beautifully-wrapped box, Wallace is so happy and excited about his presents that it instantly made me tear up

Wallace has since passed away. His family established the Wallace the Pit Bull Foundation to preserve his memory and improve the lives of dogs and those who help them.
