12-Year-Old Italian Twins Deliver Uplifting Coldplay Violin Cover During Quarantine

As the coronavirus pandemic leaves people stuck at home, musicians are taking to their instruments to spread a little cheer to their friends and family. Two young twins from Sicily aim just to do that with their beautiful rendition of the timeless tune “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay.

After weeks of mandatory quarantine, and seemingly endless empty hours to fill with what else but practicing, 12-year-old twins Mirko and Valerio from Sicily decided it was finally time to put their musical talent together to create something incredibly unique.

Behold their epic violin cover of Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida.” After an energetic welcome, the twins take off with completely in-sync violin strokes and positively infectious energy. While showing that they are capable instrumentalists, what really brings their performance to the next level is their obvious enthusiasm and joy for
music.

While this video captures these twins’ amazing spirit and musical prowess, it also serves as a beautiful reminder that life goes on, even while most of the outside world seems to have ground to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic. Or more appropriately, to quote Mirko and Valerio, “viva la vida,” or “long live life” in English.
