A 13-year-old girl went high into the air on a two-seater aircraft for the thrill of her life. The pilot welcomes her to ‘Nick Airlines,’ and she says her name is Faith, and this is her second time flying with him.
He says she’s 13 and flew in the old plane he had previously. But she hasn’t tried the new plane yet. The pilot takes off and says a few words to the control tower, and Faith says, “Oh!”
She smiles as the white plane slowly takes off. Her legs are shaking nervously as they climb higher and higher in the sky. The pilot explains to her how the flaps on the back of the wings help them slow down and cause wind resistance for take-off and landing.
He asks if she’s excited, and she says, “I’m so excited. I remember this feeling.” She yells a bit as they fly up, and once they get up, she smiles in shock, and Nick asks, “Were you a bit scared?”
She says, “Yeah. But you’re used to this. You’re good at it.” He shows her that he can steer with the foot pedals, and he takes his hands off and starts to swerve the plane slightly, and Faith starts to freak out and laugh nervously.
He tells her to try out the main steering stick. Faith reaches for it as her hands start to shake. She can’t believe she’s about to steer the plane! She laughs and pulls away in a panic. Then, Nick helps her, and they turn slightly left and right and up and down. Every motion they make causes Faith to open her mouth, her eyes wide in fear.
They fly over lots of farmland, and Faith says it looks so amazing from the sky. She records some of the flight on her phone. As they land, she smiles, laughs, thanks him, and says it was absolutely amazing.
