15-Year-Old Farm Girl Trained The Family Cow To Leap Like A Horse. You Can’t Miss This!

15-year-old farm girl Regina Mayer doesn’t take no for an answer. This headstrong girl from Germany asked her parents for a horse, but they refused. What she chose to do next blew my mind!

Instead of keeping her focus on a horse, Regina decided to get creative. Since she couldn’t have a horse, she found the next best thing, a well-tempered cow that already lived on her family’s farm.

Regina started her training with Luna the cow using baby steps. Just an easy walk in the woods to get her new found friend used to the idea of being around her, and being active. Gradually, Regina introduced riding equipment to the mix.

After six months, Regina decided it was time to see how the cow would react to having a human rider. So she saddled up Luna, and carefully climbed aboard.

“She was really well behaved and walked normally,” said Regina, of that first ride. “But after a couple of meters, she wanted me to get off! You could see that she got a bit peeved.”

After this, Regina developed a thorough training routine with Luna. The two worked together every day for about two full years, until Luna was ready to confidently jump obstacles and obey commands.
