Suppose you ever wanted a glimpse into the photo album of a celebrity vacation. In that case, you can take a look at Elvis Presley’s last Hawaiian vacation pictures from March 1977.

Elvis went to Honolulu, Hawaii, with an entourage of 30 people. Everyone checked into the ‘Hilton Rainbow Tower’ on March 4th. While all the guests wanted to have fun, Elvis was incredibly tense from a challenging concert tour with another on the horizon.
‘The King’ needed to get some rest, and he spent most of the time on his balcony on day one of the trip. On March 5th, Elvis stayed in his suite overlooking the beautiful beaches.

He took a 30-minute drive from the hotel and rented a house at Kailua, on the west side of Oahu. Elvis took along a few women and male friends, and he finally had some privacy.
Elvis spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool. He even played football with his friends. He really got into the game, and one of his buddies had to calm him down to avoid injury.

On March 7th, Elvis was able to enjoy the outside weather on the beach for the first time on the trip. Then, on March 11th, Elvis visited the ‘Polynesian Cultural Center.’
He watched the popular Polynesian show and was spotted by his fans. Elvis was one of the biggest stars on the planet, so it was hard for him to go unnoticed for long. After scratching his eye with sand, Elvis had to leave the gorgeous island and head home to Memphis, Tennessee, for a doctor’s visit. The photos of his last vacation to Hawaii are amazing behind-the-scenes images of Elvis enjoying a getaway with friends.
