The 2nd Marine Division Band performed their signature tune ‘The Marines Hymn.’ They played on Horse Guards Parade, London, with the Massed Bands of HM Royal Marines.
Their band had percussionists, brass players, woodwind players, and more. It was a clear day outside as they started their impeccable performance. Each member of the band stood in formation and wore a pristine uniform.
A crowd of people watched in awe of their fantastic and flawless showing. The band moved with perfect synchronization and unison. Even in the open grounds, their music could be heard from far away.
The musicians looked straight ahead and played without expression, but their passion was shown through their tune. They moved and marched together, acting like a machine. There wasn’t a single person out of place.
As they marched, they formed six lines while playing. The amount of practice it takes to master this type of performance is tremendous. Each person did their part perfectly.
Members of the other bands that gathered in the area stood still while watching from a distance. The band made their performance look effortless and smooth.
While the song was ending, the 2nd Marine Division band moved into place beside the other musicians. They continued to play in their position until the end of their song.
