When children put their mind to doing what they love, they’re capable of incredible things. Take Harper Schwalb, for example. At just six years old, this charming girl is melting hearts at the 2020 Showbiz Dance Competition.
In Phoenix, Arizona, kids of all ages put in days of hard work and determination to perform for their families and a panel of judges. Harper chose to create an enthralling routine to the classic song, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
Wearing an adorable sparkly blue costume, Harper begins to move across the stage effortlessly. What sets her apart from others is that she’s not dancing to the original version of the song. She chose the Connie Talbot rendition, which is sung by a fellow six-year-old.
It’s truly mind-boggling to see what children are capable of at such a young age. Harper’s precision and smooth moves showcase all of the practice and dedication that went on behind the scenes. We can’t help but keep our eyes glued to every move of her enchanting performance.
