60-year-old The Voice Senior with soul-reaching heavy metal ballad

While many think adults can’t start music careers, The Voice Senior of The Voice Holland has seen numerous older artists auditioning. In the blind audition of Season Four was Hans Meurs, an adult who seemed to be in his sixties.

Singing “Still Loving You” by Scorpions, Hans Meurs started calmly until he lit the stage with his voice. The guitar sounds lifted the mood, and some people sang along with him.

Different emerging artists and music lovers have covered the song by Scorpions but written by Klaus Meine. Some of them are Alyona Yarushina, Inga Kiseleva, and many other YouTubers. Fans love many things about music.

One of the things singers loved about the song was the raw emotions exhibited. “Still Loving You” is about a love affair that seems sour and could fail soon. One of the lovers wants to keep the love aflame, hence the soul-reaching music.

The song is about recognizing that love is becoming an old story even when you want it. Another thing that makes the music more attractive is the metal guitar and the thick sounds emitted. They’re incredible thrills to listeners.

While Hans Meurs seemed to have invested every bit of him in the performance, none of the judges turned their chairs for him. He performed, reached the peak of his voice, but none of them wanted him. It felt like a failed audition.

However, Hans Meurs has been watched by thousands of people. One audience commented that Hans’s voice was fabulous and that the judges must have been “inattentive.” It was a simple case where judges did not like what the audience enjoyed.
