61-Year-Old Elephant Gets Serenaded by Classical Pianist Playing “Moonlight Sonata.”

There are many things people can do to lower their stress levels. Listening to classical music is one of the most effective ways to reduce cortisol. When a classical pianist plays beautiful music for a 61-year-old elephant, he can’t help but feel relaxed.

When animals listen to classical music, it can change a lot about them. Dogs will listen to commands better, and cows can even produce more milk. Pianist Paul Barton chose to play a tune after the sun went down for the evening.

Barton and his team set up a piano in the middle of the forest and lit the scene to record a video. Mongkol, the elephant, is standing right beside the piano once everything is all set up. As Paul starts to play “Moonlight Sonata” for Mongkol, he begins to flap his ears.

As the song progresses, we can see Mongkol wag his tail to the beat and even sways his trunk around. You can tell that the adorable elephant loves this tune. The video ends with Barton giving Mongkol a big hug right before the elephant calls it a night.
