61-year-old Marco Guerzoni proves that he has everything it takes to be a rockstar and gets the turns turning with his cover of the hit song ‘Are you gonna go my way’ at The Voice Senior.
The confidence, the look, voice, and energy all resemble that of a legendary rockstar. The first thing you notice about his look is his grey dreadlocks that are tied up in a ponytail. And then the song starts, and Marco’s face lights up with a smile.
It is clear to see that he enjoys the performance. His happiness and energy radiate onto the crowd, which soon starts clapping in rhythm to the song. His dance moves are perfectly in sync with the music, and he becomes pretty acrobatic at times.

This song put Lenny Kravitz on the map almost 30 years ago, and it shot up the charts in multiple countries. Lenny went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance four years in a row, from 1999 to 2002.
The fast-paced song requires a lot of energy and a powerful voice, and Marco has both. Shortly after his unique voice starts to fill the room, one judge slams the button and swings around.
Marco is, in fact, a very talented musician. He started playing the trumpet at 7 and became a professional dancer once he finished school. In the 1980’s he also joined two bands, and in 2005 he also performed in a multidisciplinary theatrical show called ‘Letters of Silence.’
Andrea Acona recognized Marco and wrote online: ‘How nice to hear from Marco after all this time.’ To use the word ‘nice’ to describe the performance would be an insult. His sensational high-energy performance amazed everybody present at The Voice Senior and continues to do so online.
