7.5 million people have watched this teen serenade his teacher

This teen turned on the waterworks when he performed covers of Paul McCartney’s songs ‘Let It Be’ and ‘Hey Jude’ for a school assignment. His special parody left his teacher in tears.

We’ve all had a history assignment like this at some point. However, I don’t think any of us has executed it in quite this way! When this teen was assigned a project to be a celebrity from his favorite decade, this is what happened.

He chose Paul McCartney, which is a wonderful choice considering his musical talent. He starts off with a wonderful rendition of The Beatles’ ‘Let It Be’. But he isn’t finished.

His next cover is The Beatles’ ‘Hey Jude’, of course in the style of Paul McCartney. He calls his teacher up on stage. “Because I would like to serenade you,” he says when she asks why.

She comes up to sit on stage, and he begins a version of ‘Hey Jude’ with improvised lyrics. They are obviously personal lyrics about the teacher, her class, and her method of teaching.

The teacher is moved so much that she begins to tear up on stage. His cover is hilarious and touching. We’re sure he got an A on this assignment!
