7 Seniors Have to Pick Who Among Them Will Go Home With $1000

A group of seven adults, three seated and four standing, posing for a portrait against a black background.

Seven seniors were brought in to see how they would decide which one of them deserves to go home with $1000. The oldest among them was 87.

There were four rounds and for each one, they would have to pick one person to eliminate. In the final round, the last three people would choose the winner from their group.

In the first round they each talk about why they want the $1000. Samantha wants to leave Seattle and take time for herself. She lost a child in the previous year and wants to have space to grieve.

7 seniors have challenged to pick who among them will get $1000

Alan wants to start a program for the homeless. Jennifer is on disability, and needs new bottom teeth because her dog chewed hers when she left it out. Etta needs new appliances, her refrigerator is broken.

Twyla’s backdoor is bust because a guy kicked it in. Deanna also wants to take time for herself, she has six kids. Al wanted to pitch for a charity and he thought everyone was doing the same thing.

They think of different ways to decide how to eliminate a person in each round. In one round they play a game in which they have to guess a number.

The final decision was a surprise. It was down to Samantha, Deanna, and Etta. Deanna suggests that Samantha and Etta split it. They shake on it and the challenge ends.
