Meet Little Lucy Cardillo, an energetic 8-year-old girl in a bright red dress that matches her personality perfectly.
When her elementary school put on a Christmas concert, her spectacular performance went viral when her boundless enthusiasm completely steals the show.
The little girl’s mom, Kelly, was urged by friends to post the video on Facbook. “This is my daughter at her school Christmas concert,” she wrote when she posted it last weekend. “She brought the house down. See if you can guess which one she is.”
As of Saturday morning, the clip had more than 19 million views just on Facebook and millions more across YouTube and Twitter.
During the 2-and-a-half minute musical about the reindeer Blitzen, Lucy doesn’t miss a beat. Lucy brought down the house her fans with a lively presentation, dancing and singing with enthusiasm as she shimmied on stage with classmates much to the delight of everyone.
“That’s her personality,” she said. “But she doesn’t always perform like that. I think she just really felt that song.”
Before a full house, as she sang and danced her way through several classic Christmas songs. “She hadn’t shown me anything she was learning in music class,” her mother wrote. “I loved it but wasn’t surprised at all. That’s Lucy. She’s always loved the stage.”
