86-Year-Old Looks 50 Again After Her Makeover

86-year-old, Shirley is a truly beautiful soul inside and out. In this video we see her after having her makeover. She expresses her gratitude as she describes herself feeling like she’s been taken back thirty years, even on the inside. Shirley just glows with joy and appreciation for the opportunity.

The video clip that comes afterward flashes back to Shirley introducing herself. Only, no one would ever know that this was the same face that appeared just seconds ago. Pre-makeover, Shirley has toussled curly mousy brown hair and no makeup. She has some age spots on her skin, which is somewhat sallow.

In her made-over version, Shirley has short light blonde hair styled elegant and modern. Of course, her makeup is flawless.

It’s amazing what a difference hair and makeup can make!

The real treasure, though, is Shirley’s life story. She introduces herself as an almost 87-year-old from Ohio. Even before she’s made up she does not seem her age. She explains that inside she feels somewhere in her thirties.

Shirley was a church secretary manager who cotaught middle school aged children with her husband.

She laughs about piling twenty or so children into her old station wagon, and picking up kids who couldn’t get to church on their own. She reminisces that these were the goold old years, when she had her own four children, three of them within three years.

Shirley and her now deceased husband were married for 64 years. One of her daughters is a college professor and another son worked in a secret service position. Shirley’s youngest son passed away from cancer in 2010.

She describes her family as close and looks back on grief and joyful times both as good.

Shirley shares that during her childhood she grew up and worked on the farm. She describes herself as a fun-loving little girl, until she was sexually abused as a young teen. She then describes meeting her husband at age 18, and eloped. Her father disowned her after this.

Shirley explains that because of her experiences, that she was able to minister to young girls who were abused.

Some of Shirley’s best advice is “don’t give up when you get old. You always have to try at life.”

We can’t think of anyone else who deserves to feel beautiful more than Shirley.
