Kids are getting more talented every year; don’t you think so? I don’t know what it is. It might be the fact that social media has been putting all this talent in our faces but there’s not a single day that I don’t discover some child or teenager with some incredible talent. Much of this has been thanks to shows like, “America’s Got Talent,” and “The Voice,” that we have gotten to know them.
I remember seeing one of these shows that were filmed in Greece. They had contestants from all age groups, but it was a teenager that caught the judges’ eyes as well as mine. The boy looked about 15 years old, he was a student and enjoyed singing. His mother was there with him showing all the support a mother could. She mentioned to the staff that she was very proud of him and that she hoped everyone would appreciate his immense talent.
The minute he started singing, the judges were shocked. His voice sounded so much more mature, and to top it off, he was singing opera! It took the judges a few seconds to realize that he was not doing playback for them, it was his real voice! When you listened to him, it made you wonder how some people can be so incredibly talented at such an early age.
Another one of these amazing children is a girl by the name is Bianca Ryan. She performed at the 2006 edition of America’s Got Talent. When you saw her, you would not imagine that a child so young would have such a powerful voice. She looked a little shy as she introduced herself to the judges. Everyone thought she was very nice and very likable.
When she informed them that she would be singing, “And I’m telling you, I’m not going,” which is one of the most difficult songs to perform, even for an adult, the judges were more than shocked. One of the judges told her that it was a very big song, but Bianca responded that she knew, and she was ready to perform it. This made everyone’s expectations rise.
The minute Bianca started singing, everyone in attendance froze and could not believe their ears. It was as if a much older woman was singing that song. And remember, it takes a very talented adult singer to pull that song off decently. At the end of her performance, the judges and pretty much everyone in attendance were on their feet.
Well, the next child prodigy is nothing short of amazing. She’s only 7 years old and already a professional violin player! I swear, the minute you listen to her, you are not going to believe your ears!
