A Mother Fox Returns to Pick up Her Rescued Babies

Three fluffy kittens cuddle together on a blue blanket, while a fox stands near a white box in a grassy area.

Gates Wildlife Control helps return seven fox pups to their mother. Under the floorboards of a house, their crew finds the pups scared and hiding. They have to use an electric saw to carefully remove some of the wooden boards.

They find the first pup, and he has black fur and a white-tipped tail. He is adorable. It takes time to see the rest of the baby foxes because they are doing their best to hide.

Many of the pups back themselves into corners trying to remain unseen. The crew makes sure to pick them up gently and gingerly. Their goal is to get them all out from under the house.

Adorable mother fox returns to pick up her rescued babies

After checking the entire house, they find seven pups in total. They gather them all together, and their next goal is for the mother fox to come and pick them up.

In a box, they put all the cute pups. The box is laid in the area where the mother fox, vixen, usually passes. It is placed there, so she definitely won’t miss it.

The vixen digs the dirt nervously as she assesses the situation. When she sees the box, she is apprehensive at first. Finally, she starts picking up the pups from the container one by one.

The vixen places the pups in her mouth and moves them across the street to a temporary location. All seven fox babies are quickly back with their mother.
