A Rottweiler sees a rabbit outside and takes off running, but see what he does after

When you think of a Rottweiler, do you think that’s the kind of dog you would like to adopt? This is very controversial for many people. There are those who are in favor of the breed while there are those who are completely against them, especially if they have kids. I was one of those people, to be honest. Growing up, just by seeing that coloring on dogs’ fur was enough to make me nervous.

No one in my neighborhood had a Rottie, but they didn’t need to. The movie industry had given me enough reasons why I should fear them. Nevertheless, I decided to get close to one when I was an adult. I met a person who had a liquor store. He had about 4 Rotties that were always there at night. I asked him about them and he told me all sorts of things.

He said that if you got a Rottie, you would have to take him to obedience school, so he could learn commands and do what you needed him to do. Of course, I thought he had this opinion because, for him, Rotties were primarily security dogs for his business. I asked them what it was like to have them living at home and he told me they didn’t go with him. They stayed in the business.

I always thought that was a little cruel. It’s like you are not considering them part of your family, which is something I have always thought. A dog is like your sister or brother, or even like your child. So, why treat him any different? When I asked him if I could pet his dogs, he mentioned that I could only pet the puppy, because the adult ones would not let me. I thought that the puppy was very cute.

I decided to give them a try and before you knew it, I had gotten a Rottie puppy. I adopted her when she was about 3 months old. She was very skinny. In fact, she didn’t even look like a Rottie. Nevertheless, I loved her very much. As she grew older, I saw that she was going to need some training. These dogs are extremely intelligent and are always looking for you to teach them something.

I also found out that they can be more playful than you would expect. Just like the pup in the following video. A Rottie is playing outside when he sees a rabbit jumping around. Once he sees him, he charges him, and just when everyone thinks that something bad is about to happen, the Rottie does THIS!
