They were riding down the highway on their motorbikes, swerving through cars and snaking their way through the fast traffic flowing down the road. When suddenly Desmond saw his friend pull over and quickly pick up something from the road. He also pulled over to his friend and saw that his friend had rescued a little abandoned kitten who was trying to cross the crowded street, risking the high chance of getting run over.
As his friend couldn’t take her as he already had too many cats, Desmond Shephard decided to take her with him. He placed her in his helmet at the back and drove carefully all the way home, stopping at regular intervals to check up on her. “Cats are my weakness, I can’t just leave it here,” said Desmond as he bundled her up in his helmet. This was the safest solution that he could think of on the spot.
He wanted to get the little fur baby someplace safe where someone could take care of her. However, he changed his mind as he didn’t trust a stranger to take proper care of the little furry feline. You can see from the video the special bond that Desmond and the kitten formed as they hung out together. She would climb up his leg to be close to him and follow him everywhere. He also appreciated her efforts in showing him love as she demanded affection in return.
After a vet appointment, it was revealed that the kitten suffered from respiratory infection for which she was given medication. Fed her food through her syringe, you can see that she laps it up happily and loves being with him. When she climbed onto his lap one day, mewling for his attention and fell asleep, he knew he had been adopted by the kitten and that they were meant to be together.
