Abandoned, Starving Cat Found In Animal Dumping Ground. Calls For Help. Can Anybody Save Him???

When it comes to animal rescue workers, they have seen creatures at their absolute worst and at the brink of death. Even so, seeing such sad cases everyday saddens their heart. When a kind rescuer, working on a TNR round (Trap-Neuter-Release) at a feral colony in Goa, India, heard a weak mewl, she wasn’t sure what to expect.

Rushing to the rescue, she came upon a cat who was barely skin and bones and just about hanging on to life by a thread. With eyes that were watering and a congested nose, this cat was in really bad shape. The Good Samaritan saw that the feline was in desperate need of help and rushed him to the emergency care where he was treated.

Goa is a city with a huge tourist population and with people comes a menagerie of animals. Sadly, with a huge feral population, the city has also become a dumping ground of sorts for unwanted animals and the number is always on the rise. The kind rescue worker is doing her part in saving those she can who otherwise would not live to see another day.

Giving the cat food, shelter and showering it with love, comfort and affection seems to have brought the cat’s gratitude to the surface. When you watch the video, you’ll see the cat purring contentedly on his human mama’s lap, stretching and reaching towards her face and kind voice. One moment which is also shared on the video shows the cat holding his foster mum with front paws, almost seeming to say, “Thank you for saving me”.

It’s clear to see the cat realized he was given a second chance at life and wanted to show all the love he could. Named Mr. Fluffypants, the cat soon healed and now shadows his human mama everywhere.
