Nala was living in a ditch in downtown Los Angeles. She was definitely abused by her former human (a man), she whimpered and ran away at the sound of a man's voice.
A kind woman fed her, but Nala was too scared of humans to eat. She would wait until the woman left, then and only then would she eat. It was obvious Nala had legitimate trust issues because of the way she had been treated.
The rescuers from Hope For Paws were informed about Nala and they came to the rescue. This non-profit organization has been working for years and has come across many cases like Nala's. This video will definitely leave you crying rivers!
