“The Voice” Coaches Deliver A Nostalgic “Rat Pack” Inspired Vegas-Style Performance
With the approach of the 16th season of the popular talent show “The Voice”, the four celebrity musicians collaborated to bring something fabulous to get us ready for the opening night. And this season they didn’t disappoint!
In this memorable video clip, the superstar coaches perform together, delivering something really special indeed. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton deliver a powerful duet with Frank Sinatra’s classic, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’. But wait until Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys join in.
In a performance inspired by the original “rat pack”, our coaches join forces and take us back to the 1960s where it was all happening. In true 60s tradition, the music video is shot in black-and-white tones, with a Vegas nightclub vibe.
The clever stage setting is true to the era, complete with radical curtains and backing by the over-the-top swing dancers.
The two male vocalists, Coach Adam Levine, and Coach Blake Shelton deliver a convincing duet with Frank Sinatra’s classic hit, “Fly Me To The Moon”. Their fabulous voices work really well together and their witty banter is just too cute.
Not to be outdone by the boys, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson join their fellow coaches with their rendition of another 60’s hit, Nina Simone’s “Feelin’ Good” and it is a stirring delivery. For some of us, the monochrome video and the favorite old-time hits will bring back some treasured memories of a bygone era.
“The Voice” Season 16 returns to NBC with the four big-name coaches on the revolving chairs, searching once again for the next huge musical talent.
