In this live performance video, Adam Levine performs the song ‘Lost Stars’ from the Movie ‘Begin Again.’ The emotional rock ballad was nominated for ‘Best Original Song’ at the Academy Awards.
This intimate venue has a crowd of roughly 500 people. Adam wears a collared shirt and vest while playing an acoustic guitar, and large amber hanging lights adorn the stage.
The song begins with Adam strumming the acoustic singing the heartfelt lyrics, ‘Please, don’t see, just a boy caught up in dreams and fantasies. Please, see me, reaching out for someone I can’t see.’
When Adam gets to the 1st chorus, the rest of the band enters. The camera pans around him, providing unique angles and footage of the superstar frontman. There are also shots of adoring fans singing along!
By the 2nd verse, the entire band enters, including cello, bass, synth, and multiple violins on stage surrounding Adam. The 2nd chorus fires up the crowd, and they start lifting their hands and clapping along.
Adam hits the song’s bridge using his soaring falsetto to knock out the high notes as the intensity builds. Now, the audience has coordinated their hands swaying, and a sea of hands moves in time.
