As the cold weather rolled in, the chipmunk stars of the YouTube channel ChooChoo’s Story were preparing for winter. That meant getting as much food as possible before it was time to hibernate.
So, it was no surprise when the channel favorite, Chucky, showed up at this couple’s screen door. Fortunately, these two animal-loving people were more than prepared for their chipmunk guest’s arrival.
The rambunctious Chucky waited at the door when the husband of the household, Tom, came back. “Is that you, Chucky,” he said, reaching for the door handle. “Come on inside. Watch your head!”
If it was not clear already, this chipmunk, like many other neighborhood creatures, was extremely comfortable in this household. Little Chucky rushed ahead of the husband as soon as the door opened.
And she knew right where to go. Chucky dashed to the food bowls and started stuffing meal worms and fruit into her pouches. But once she finished what was in her pouches, Chucky still wanted more.
The curious chipmunk searched around the house to find the hidden stash of extra mealworms, but she could not find more of her favorite treat. Luckily, Tom and his wife were happy to give the little one more when she finished what she had in her pouch.
By the time Chucky was ready to leave, her pouches were overflowing with treats to take home with her. Tom smiled as she walked out the door. “Come back soon, Chucky,” he said. “Be careful out there!”
