Over the years, Frank Sinatra created one surprising hit after another. “New York, New York” is one of his most famous songs, and it’s still being heard today. A group of adorable kids dance along to this classic tune and shock the crowd with their impressive moves.
You don’t have to be an adult to enjoy this iconic number. In a 2016 performance at the OCPAA competition held in New York City, one group of dancers stood out from the rest. Dressed in jazzy leotards, these gifted dancers had quite the routine up their sleeves.
The viral video starts out with the precious kids looking away from the crowd as the stage becomes illuminated. As soon as the Sinatra hit starts playing, they begin to twist around and shake their little booties with energy.
As the song continues to play, we see impressive acrobatic skills, a few ballet-like moves, and more. There’s no denying that these kids practiced for hours on end to be able to perform this flawlessly. I can’t wait to see what they do in the future.
