The talented young teenager, Darci Lynne Farmer, and her puppet, Oscar, makes an appearance on the “America’s Got Talent: Champions” special show. She is looking almost grown up in an off-the-shoulder gown and swept up hairstyle.
Full of confidence, the bubbly artist starts off with a quick Simon Cowell roast before bursting into song with Oscar the mouse. They sing a rousing rendition of Tina Turner’s iconic rock hit, “Nutbush City Limit”, which soon becomes a Creedence Clearwater Revival chart-topper, the classic, “Proud Mary”.
In no time they have the whole auditorium jumping to the music, cheering and applauding. Once again, this remarkable 14-year-old has demonstrated her unbelievable skill as an entertainer.
Of course, she makes it look easy but singing a duet with a puppet by ventriloquism is extremely challenging. Darci Lynne has proven herself to be an expert ventriloquist, by winning her season of the “America’s Got Talent” reality show. But also, she is such a talented singer that if she ever gave up her brilliant ventriloquism act, she could certainly still make a career as a singer.
The “Champions” shows are the best of the best from all of the world-wide “Got Talent” franchise, all coming together to finally decide who is the greatest act of all time. Past favorites like mega-star singer, Susan Boyle, and top comedian, Preacher Lawson, have also featured on the new season.
