Living life to the fullest is a concept that we have all lived through. Being in the water throughout the summer months as a teenager was all that truly mattered. Hanging with friends and finding a little love to mix in with the fun times. Alan Jackson’s music video, “Chattahoochee,” wraps the concept into one song.

Playing in the sun on the water is a concept that we are all familiar with and can relate to. If we were lucky enough to own a boat or knew someone who had one, the water was even more appealing. The Chattahoochee may be murky and cold, but when we want to cool off, the color of the water is no deterrent.
The Chattahoochee River is not the only place in America, either. Big cities, rural towns, and everything in between has a place where we all grew up. Hanging with friends and family while keeping an eye out for the person that may become a lifelong partner. Or maybe just a summertime fling that offers life memories.

Alan Jackson shows that he is still a country boy at heart. He loves to play in the sun and on the water, but he refuses to dress for the occasion. If we saw someone out waterboarding behind a boat wearing cut-up jeans and a cowboy hat, we would all stop to watch. Not to judge, but to say that there is a man with no care in the world.
Which is the entire point of our youth. We play, have fun, and do things that may not be in our best interests. But we only live once, and as the song “Chattahoochee” shows, we need to make the most of it. Alan Jackson is that fun Uncle that we all love to hang out with because he pushes the ordinary into something far better.

The video portrays the happiness and enjoyment of young people in the summer around the water. Any water, not just in the Chattahoochee. Plus, we cannot forget about young love and how it would strike. People that have grown up in urban America will relate to this video, not just the people in Georgia.
Remember when Alan Jackson was everywhere? You'll find plenty of it on Amazon. That's where we earn a bit, keeping the lights on.
