Alan Jackson Dazzles At The Grand Ole Opry With His Stunning Performance Of ‘Remember When’

In 1958, Alan Jackson was born in Newnan, Georgia. While he didn’t sport his signature white cowboy hat in the cradle, those early days certainly were getting him ready for an outstanding career in music.

Jackson, along with his four older sister, were raised in a rural part of Georgia. They grew up in a house his parents had built around his grandpa’s old toolshed. He used to sing on Sundays at the local church, paving the way for later commercial success.

Love found JAckson early, and he married his high school sweetheart, Denise, in 1979. The two moved to Nashville so Jackson could pursue his dreams of making music. He started out working in a mailroom and collecting rejection slips. Persistence paid off, though, and by 1990 Jackson had released his debut album, Here In The Real World.

He’s released a string of chart-topping singles and albums over the course of his career. His track “Remember When”, released in 2003, enjoyed record-breaking success.
