The gruesome 9/11 attack caused great fear, worry, and shock in America. Regardless, Alan Jackson finds relief in music as he sings to help souls heal. Americans also shared his musical solace.

The country music star picked fine tunes from his guitar on a large stage, with spotlights radiating in the background. He rang out a fine baritone touching souls as they remembered the sad day.

The band, backstage, kicked in with soft drumbeats and smooth violin sounds as Alan rang out the chorus. It was in honor of the invaluable services of America’s heroes—those lost, those still standing.

The song came to a beautiful end, leaving many in tears. The audience cheered Alan as he left the stage. It was a song that would be in their hearts forever.

The song premiered at the 2001 CMA awards. Before Alan recorded the track. Alan, not sure of recording and profiting from it, did the song to express his feelings.

The incredible country song was a big hit, considered one of the best of all time in its genre. Alan performed the song in honor of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attack.
