Tim Newton woke up early one morning after hearing a disturbance outside, and when he checked on what it was, he couldn’t believe his eyes. The photographer from Alaska could not believe his luck, either.
Right on his porch, there was a family of Lynx in front of him. The only thing that stood between them was a screen door. At first, he thought that they were normal cats.
Then he realized there was a mother, Lynx, and her seven adorable Lynx kittens. All of them were playing on the porch and didn’t seem to be scared of Tim.

Like any good photographer would, he quickly grabbed his camera and captured this once-in-a-lifetime moment. The Lynx did not shy away from the camera.
In fact, they seemed to enjoy the attention. The adorable felines continued to play on the porch, and they were cuddling, wrestling, and chasing each other.
One photo has them lined up as if they were posing for the camera. Tim must have felt like he was dreaming. A photo opportunity like that doesn’t usually fall onto someone’s lap or porch.
As long as they were there, he kept snapping photo after photo. They played for 40 minutes before leaving. Lynx are difficult to find in the wild, and they gave Tim an unforgettable morning.
