Christmas is almost here and there are a lot of festive activities going around. Everyone is thinking about decorations and lights. I am sure most of you are, too. That Christmas spirit is contagious.
Well, one man certainly did light up the spirits of many. Richard Holdman decorated his home with many lights, took to his computer to design a light show and then set it all to music.
It took him months to set up the first show, and every year since then, he added to the effect. Soon more than just the people in town came to see his extravaganza.
Out front, he placed a small donation box. In the ensuing years, he has raised over $40,000 for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. That’s incredible when you think about all of the people who stopped to look at his beautiful house, and they were moved to reach into their own pockets to help others in need.
Now Richard has upped his game, established a lighting company to do what he loves best. He has taken his talents to the professional world of animated lighting displays, across the United States and internationally.
I remember the day this was uploaded. So nostalgic for me. Still, after all these years, it’s a great light show — and that’s proof it’s a classic. This is extraordinary every time I watch it. I am still mesmerized in shock and awe like a little kid again.
This is one of the most beautiful AND elegant Christmas light displays I’ve seen. No “flashy” disco stuff. Just pure elegance combined with one of the most beautiful songs in the world.
Now get ready to enjoy this — one of the most beautiful Christmas light displays. Turn your speakers up to a comfortable level so you can enjoy the ‘Amazing Grace’ musical synchronization.
