Arnold the Goose Needs Emergency Surgery, and His Goose Wife Is Terribly Worried

A person in teal gloves holds a Canada goose, while another goose stands outside on a porch.

Just like human beings, animals can also feel various emotions on their bodies. They know how to fear, become happy, end up being sad, and, well, care for one another.

It might seem impossible and very rare to happen, but yes, animals, whatever their kinds are, have a way of showing their care for their mate or family.

A group of veterinary experts saw that the wild goose from their backyard pond is having difficulty walking and is limping with his feet. They decided to take him and treat him in their facility.

Arnold the Goose and his wife

When the examination started, they were all startled by a knocking on the glass door. Apparently, it was his mate who was very concerned at that moment.

The nurse decides to check and let the lady goose know that they are doing everything to help her partner. But still, the lady goose stayed there and waited for her husband to wake up.

Good thing that the team was able to restore the feet of Arnold, making it functional as well. Though, the goose still needs to stay in the facility for a couple of weeks.

We sometimes think that animals are not that caring and loving towards their kind. But this lady goose has proven to us that we are wrong with that assumption. They indeed know how to love their style.
