Dogs indeed are man’s best friend, and sometimes, that friendship starts soon after birth. These babies are having the time of their lives with these pups, who seem very happy to entertain.
A lot of the laughter comes from licking. One clip features a toddler walking back and forth between two dogs lying on a bed. As the child goes from one dog to the next, they shower him with kisses.
Another dog licks the remnants of the baby’s snacks off her hand and high chair tray. The baby is overjoyed to be cleaned by her dog and loves watching it lap up the crumbs.
Other clips feature the dogs just having fun. One dad stands with his toddler in a backyard baby pool. Their dog runs back and forth in the pool, enjoying the cool water.
Another dog plays with a newly crawling baby. He acts as if he and the baby are in a race to the dog cushion. Who will get there first? The baby laughs and laughs as he is all too happy to be beaten to the pillow.
Another dog, a Golden Retriever, is very patient to oblige his human family. The baby sits on his father’s lap as the father asks the dog to lie down and then sit up. Each time the dog sits up and makes eye contact with the baby, the baby cracks up with laughter.
These clips show the belly laughs that our babies have with dogs. Having an animal in the house can be a source of great joy and fun for the whole family.
