Elephants are one of the most magnificent creatures on earth. Research suggests that they are some of the most intelligent, social, and empathic animals around. Some people even believe that their intelligence rivals that of humans. No matter what anyone says, one thing is for certain, and that is that they are remarkable! And let’s not forget, ridiculously adorable!
This clip comes from the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai Thailand and features a group of elephants that are grazing in the field. But the main star is definitely the little baby elephant! The moment this guy spots the camera, he puts on quite a show for us. He is playful and he isn’t afraid of exploring his surroundings. And for some reason, he is really fascinated with the log in the field!
This little guy gets really close to the camera at first, and is very curious. He seems to get this look on his face like he knows he’s being recorded. He immediately picks up some leaves and throws them around and starts running across the field in his clumsy way.
But then he discovers a log. He’s a baby, so his legs are pretty short, and this log is pretty big. He climbs over it and none of his feet are touching the ground. It’s so cute! The funniest part is that the rest of the herd totally ignores all of his antics and just continues to eat. He’s just precious.
