Going on a safari can be fun with your near and dear ones. However, suppose you catch a wild animal close to your vehicle. In that case, the excitement of the safari can increase manifolds.
Although many people would claim to come across a lion, tiger, zebra, giraffe, or rhino on a safari, very few would come across a baby elephant. Especially a baby elephant that charged at your vehicle, thinking himself to be an adult elephant.
A group was out on a jungle safari in an open-top vehicle when they came across a baby elephant with his mother. The baby elephant went within close range of the car and began doing funny antics in front of the tourists, making them laugh.
Finding the baby elephant too near the humans, the mama elephant immediately came over to her child. This forced the safari guide and the driver of the vehicle, James Hendry, to drive away a bit. However, the elephant decided to suckle the mother’s milk as soon as the mother came near the baby.
After suckling for a moment, the baby elephant would look away and return to nursing his mother. Once his stomach was filled, the baby elephant again played some pranks with the tourists. He tried to rush towards the vehicle a few steps as if trying to scare the humans away.
The mama elephant, standing barely 3 feet away from the vehicle, looked closely at her child. The baby elephant suckled at his mother again before the mother decided to move out towards her herd. The cute baby elephant followed his mother. However, the mother-son duo was still visible.
The naughty baby elephant saw the vehicle still standing where it was earlier and decided to charge at it once again. The mother elephant kept an eye on her naughty child. The little one tried to scare off the people in the vehicle but failed to do so. All the time, the mother kept a close watch on her baby. Finally, the baby elephant ran to his mother and hid behind a bush.
