Polar bears have been crowned the planet’s largest land predators, and with good reason. They are vicious, and almost all contact with one in the wild ends badly for the other side.
Looking at their beautiful thick white coats of fur, one would easily mistake them for a harmless animal. Over time, more and more zoos continue to take in polar bears.
Baby polar bears, however, seem nothing at all close to the deadly predator they are to grow up to be. They are so cute. From their little eyes to beautiful fur, it’s just cuteness overload.

At the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, Ohio, a polar bear gave birth to a female cub. Unfortunately, the mother of the newborn cub rejected her at birth.
It is now up to people at the zoo to ensure the survival of the cub. It is known that polar bears may reject their young ones and even eat them if they appear weak at birth.
In this case, staff at the zoo claimed that after she had given birth, the mother polar bear got depressed and ignored the young and helpless cub not even breastfeeding her.
Luckily enough, the little cub is a strong one and seems to get stronger with the start of each day. She is growing up to be the great polar bear she was meant to be.
