Barn owl stuck in submerged blackberry bush rescued by humans in boat

Barn owl

Birds look lovely when they are flying freely in the sky. However, when a bird gets stuck in a bush while taking a dip in a pond or while hunting, it can get really depressing at times.

Barn owl

This is precisely what had happened recently with a barn owl. The poor bird got stuck in a bush while hunting. The barn owl was entangled in thorns and weeds that practically made the poor bird partially submerged in the water.

In an attempt to free himself, the barn owl had got so exhausted that he could barely move around in the water. The half-submerged bird seemed as if he might not survive for long in the pond.

The poor bird got one of his vast wings stuck in a thick blackberry bush either while hunting or accidentally. However, he was lucky enough to find two humans who tried every possible way to help him.

The father and son duo had gone on a boat ride when they saw the bird stuck in the wild bushes and tried to help him. They were scared to touch the bird at first. Nonetheless, they helped the barn owl come out of the water safely.

The owl was skeptical at first when the two tried to pull him from the pond. He had one eye injured, which made it difficult for the bird to hunt during the night. After putting the bird on the boat, the duo called the animal rescue team for help.

The animal rescue ambulance arrived soon and helped the bird. They even checked the bird’s condition. Finally, after a week of recovery at the shelter, the barn owl was released.
