Every year hundreds of beagles are sold to scientific laboratories to become testing experiments for all sorts of drugs. Laboratories pick beagles specifically because they’re very docile, people-friendly, adapt well to living in a cage and are relatively cheap to feed. Pretty revolting stuff if you ask me. Thankfully, the Beagle Freedom Foundation (BFF) is doing something about it. Learn their story in the video!
With the assistance of the laboratories, BFF is able to rescue the beagles that the laboratories no longer need and find them new homes. Seeing their journey across the US rescuing 38 beagles really moved me!
